Mom’s story- When Mom and Dad got married, she did not know how to cook or bake. She learned to make pie from Little Nana(Dad’s grandma) Since then she has always loved to cook and bake. Christine was always her little helper. Mom is married to Dad and they have lived in Maple Ridge most of thier lives.

Christine’s story - Always Mom’s little helper and loved baking from a very early age. Christine’s Uncle Roy one day suggested she start selling her pies. As a means to stay home with her two young boys, Christine started selling pies to friends and family at Christmas. Christine is married to Ryan and they have 2 wonderful boys, and they all are eager to taste test our products. In 2007, Ryan and Christine bought the house next door to Mom and Dad and its been benefits all around since.

A few years later, we decide to give the Haney Farmers Market a try, we were very succesful and expanded to 3 markets. When applying to the market, we made 6” sample pies to be juried. Eilleen DeWillies suggested we selling the 6” pies, so we followed her suggestion and sold out in an hour. We adjusted our plan:) We expanded our market menu to cookies, loaves and meat pies. In 2018, we both quit our jobs to dedicate our time to the pie business.

In 2020, Covid changed our market plans and the future was uncertain. Our business was blessed with an increase in our retail sales. We are honoured to have 5 retail store carry our pies.

In our spare time we both love to spend time in our gardens.
